no discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it's painful! but afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way.

i'm trying to become more disciplined. and as you can imagine this process hasn't been all flowers and butterflies. it's been challenging.
you see, i'm trying to be more disciplined about praying with focus.
i'm trying to be more disciplined about confessing my sin.
i'm trying to be more disciplined about meeting with brothers in Christ so that i might be held accountable. so that i might be challenged and encouraged.
i'm trying to be more disciplined about spending meaningful time with those who don't know the love of Jesus. and then sharing it.
i'm trying to be more disciplined about showing my wife that i love her.
i'm trying to be more like Jesus, and for me, right now, that means a call to discipline with the intention of being a disciple. what do you need to do to become a disciple of Jesus?
